Goa One Time Power Bill Settlement Scheme 2020
The Goa government launched launched the one-time settlement scheme for power consumers under this schemes government will provide priority to the interests of the needy and common man. The Government has also provided a waiver of late payment fees to those who will make payment at one time or by installments with a minimum time period.
The chief minister Pramod Sawant said that the payment of electricity bills has been held up due to various reasons, providing the people ease of access to a one-time settlement scheme through which the consumers can pay bills in installments.

The One-Time Power Bill Settlement Scheme 2020 is launched with an aim to support the consumers in clearing their long-pending dues by paying only the principal amount and the delayed payment charges will be fully or partly waived off depending on the repayment period.
Eligible for One-Time Power Bill Settlement Scheme 2020
The following categories are eligible to avail benefits of this scheme
- All the category of consumers
- Active consumers
- Temporarily disconnected / permanently disconnected Consumers and
- Sent for revenue recovery cases consumers
There is also no limit on the outstanding dues pending for payments by the consumers to the Electricity Department for availing the scheme
How to Pay Long Pending Electricity dues under Goa One-Time Power Bill Settlement Scheme 2020
Step 1 : Go to official web page – Direct Link here www.goaelectricity.gov.in
Step 2 : In th Home Page Click the link “One Time Settlement Scheme (OTSS – 2020)” – Direct Link
Step 3 : Click Register OTSS-2020
Step 4 : Enter your Contract Account Number and mobile number, then click submit button
Step 5 : Once registered, go to pay installment Link and provide your CA# & OTS Scheme Reference Number and click submit
The payment under OTSS 2020 can be through credit card, debit card, net banking, NEFT/RTGS.

1.What is OTSS-2020?
OTSS 2020 is One Time Settlement Scheme offered by Electricity Department, Government of Goa, to give opportunity to all defaulting consumers to pay their pending dues of electricity bills to the Dept. with either part or full waiver of Delayed Payment Charges based on the Repayment period.
2.What are the features of the OTSS-2020 Scheme?
The consumers will have to register for the scheme Online on Department’s portal. The scheme will remain live for 1 month for Registration from 1st December, 2020 to 31st December, 2020. The scheme is applicable to all Active consumers, TD & PD Consumers and RRC Consumers. Under the scheme, the consumer will have to pay only the Principle Amount due and the Delayed Payment Charges (DPC) will be partly or fully waived Off based on the selected repayment period. The consumer has a choice of repayment in 1 or 2 installments for 100% waiver of DPC and part waiver of 80%,60%,40%,20% of DPC for repayment period of 3,4,5,6 months respectively.
3.What is the validity of the scheme?
The validity of scheme is 1 month. The scheme will remain live for 1 month for Registration from 1st December, 2020 to 31st December, 2020.
4.What is the time period for paying the First installment?
Within 7 days of registering for the scheme.
5.What is the last date of payment for multiple installation options?
The last date of payment for each installment will be displayed on the receipt generated during the Registering process. The receipt can be downloaded / printed for reference.
6.What if I fail to pay any of the installments?
In case the consumer fails to pay any of the installment, the OTSS 2020 scheme will no longer be applicable for that consumer and the amount paid will be adjusted against the dues.
7.Is this scheme applicable to all categories of consumers?
Yes. This scheme is for all categories of consumers such as Domestic, Industrial, Commercial, Agricultures, etc.
8.Is there any minimum or maximum amount of DPC to avail the scheme?
No. There is no amount restrictions to avail the scheme.
9.How do I apply for the scheme?

10.Is CA Number required whilst applying for the scheme?
Yes. In case CA number is not available, you can search on basis of your name for the same with help of the search link provided in the portal.
