Andhra Pradesh Government going the launch the AP Jagananna Thodu Scheme 2020 on 25 November 2020. In this scheme, the state govt will provide ID Cards and Rs. 10,000 as working capital loan to street vendors.

AP Jagananna Thodu Scheme 2020
AP Jagananna Thodu Scheme 2020 will help to formalize the street vendors and will open up new opportunities to this sector to move up the economic ladder. Andhra Pradesh Government will provide lot of benefits to the street vendors through the launch of the scheme by the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. The state government will be providing 10000 Rupees as working capital loan to all of the street vendors who are finding it really hard to carry on their livelihood in the Andhra Pradesh state

చిరువ్యాపారులకు సాయం అందించే “జగనన్న తోడు” పథకాన్ని సీఎం శ్రీ వైయస్ జగన్ ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ పథకం ద్వారా రూ. 9లక్షలకు పైబడి లబ్దిదారులకు రూ.10,000 చొప్పున పూచీకత్తులేని, వడ్డీలేని రుణాలు అందిస్తున్నారు.
Hon’ble CM @ysjagan has launched #JaganannaThodu, a scheme to provide interest-free loans up to ₹10,000 to street vendors & other small traders across AP. 9,05,003 beneficiaries have been identified by village/ward volunteers & given smart ID cards for this purpose.
How to Apply for AP Jagananna Thodu Scheme 2020
Step 1: Visit the official website at https://pmsvanidhi.mohua.gov.in/
Step2 : In the homepage, Click at the “Apply for Loan” link – Direct Link
Step 3 : Enter your mobile and select I’m not a robot check box and click Request OTP button
Step 4 : Then enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and hit at the “Verify OTP” button.
Step 5 : Select the “Vendor Categories”, then fill application form, upload documents and then submit the complete application form.
Required Documents for AP Jagananna Thodu Scheme
The following documents requires to apply for the scheme:-
- Aadhar card
- Voter ID card
- Bank Account
- Mobile number
- Government identification documents
Eligibility Criteria for AP Jagananna Thodu Scheme
The following eligibility criteria must be followed by the beneficiaries to apply for the scheme:-
(i) Street vendors in possession of Certificate of Vending / Identity Card issued by Urban
Local Bodies (ULBs); (ii) The vendors, who have been identified in the survey but have not been issued Certificate of Vending / Identity Card;
Provisional Certificate of Vending would be generated for such vendors through an IT based Platform. ULBs are encouraged to issue such vendors the permanent Certificate of Vending and Identification Card immediately and positively within a period of one month.
(iii) Street Vendors, left out of the ULBled identification survey or who have started vending after completion of the survey and have been issued Letter of Recommendation (LoR) to that effect by the ULB / Town Vending Committee (TVC); and
(iv) The vendors of surrounding development/ peri-urban / rural areas vending in the geographical limits of the ULBs and have been issued Letter of Recommendation (LoR) to that effect by the ULB / TVC

About the AP Jagananna Thodu Scheme
This scheme is the part of Central Sector Scheme PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi – PMSvanidhi to facilitate
street vendors to access affordable working capital loan for resuming their livelihoods activities, after easing of lockdown.
(i) Initial working capital of up to 10,000/-
(ii) Interest subsidy on timely/ early repayment @ 7%
(iii) Monthly cash-back incentive on digital transactions
(iv) Higher loan eligibility on timely repayment of the first loan.
The loan approval process will be automated through a Mobile App and Web Portal. You will be able to check real time status of your application. Whole process, if paper/ information is complete, may take less than 30 days.
